Install Harkpin
Harkpin is what LocalPin, and then Thrum, became. It is a separate app rather than an update, so installing it will not replace whichever copy you already have — it will sit next to it.
1. Delete LocalPin and Thrum first
Do this before anything else. Left alone, you end up with the same icon two or three times over, and the first confusing thing that happens gets reported from whichever one you opened by mistake. Nothing is lost by deleting it: your account lives on the server, not on the phone, and signing in to Harkpin brings everything back.
2. Install Harkpin
iPhone and iPad
Not open yet. There is no iPhone build yet — Android came first. This page will say Open TestFlight the day there is one, and testers already on the list will be told.
Android
This downloads the app file directly. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser the first time — that is expected, and it is only because we are not on Google Play yet. Tap the file when it finishes.
3. Sign in with the same account
Same email, or the same Google account, as before. Your pins, profile and communities are all still there.
If something goes wrong
Tell us what phone you have and what you saw, at contact.projectdayone@gmail.com. A report that says which app it came from is worth three that do not.
